Operator Certification
All PWS operators on the Navajo Nation are required to become certified to the appropriate level as established by the Navajo PWSSP. The PWSSP is currently certified opterators who pass certification exams through ABC.
- Navajo certifications are valid for 3 years from date of issue and elgible for renewal once recertification requirements are met.
- The certificates are valid for the same period as with the certifying state.
- Operators are required to submit a copy of the certificate along with an application form and fee to register with the Navajo PWSSP.
- Operator certifications received from the FTCA States of New Mexico, Arizona and Utah acceptable to the Navajo PWSSP.
